The BMW triple cylinder engine is an awesome thing that I am sure you have seen in the movies, but did you know that it was BMW's way of helping the public to reduce their carbon footprint. BMW's engine was the first one of its kind. BMW wanted to reduce greenhouse gases and therefore they wanted to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide they released from their cars, BMW put a lot of research into this, after years of research BMW came out with the first ever triple cylinder engine.
BMW's triple cylinder engines have two cylinders that are positioned side by side. It actually has four cylinders, all rolled into one, BMWs triple cylinder engines are very compact and they're the smallest engines out there today. And that's why they are great for small engines.
If you have been on a vintage BMW that is missing any body work or paint work, you will be amazed at how much detail and work goes into customizing these bikes. They're not like any other bike; they have been painstakingly customized from the factory, and if they're not then you would be extremely lucky. The parts are made from high quality metal, and they are built to last, they're not for the faint hearted and you'd be amazed at the amount of detail that goes into them. You'd be hard pressed to find parts that are of the same quality.
There are some things that you will be able to find that can give you an idea of what the original BMW would have looked like before it was customized, and that is the leather seats that are still available with most BMWs, also the classic BMW tail lights. If you haven't seen those, you may want to check them out before you do anything else. And of course the classic BMW headlight bulbs, they're still around.
Another great feature of the BMW is the way they are made and the amount of customization that goes into these bikes, this is what makes them so unique, if you haven't ridden one, you might be really impressed with how much work goes into them. And I know I have. So if you're interested in one, I'd suggest you go and check one out, you won't be disappointed. !
